September 14, 2009
The following announcement (excerpt) was made at the Arizona Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants, in honor of IMC Past President (2005-2007), Lisa Koss.
IMC-AZ Announces the Creation of the Lisa Koss Annual Student Membership Scholarship
The Board of Directors of the Arizona Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants is proud to announce the establishment of an annual IMC Student Membership Scholarship in honor of IMC Past President Lisa Koss.
For those of you who have been with the chapter for a few years it is easy to realize that we would not have such a vibrant and recognized group if it was not for the efforts of Lisa Koss. Just when the Chapter was about to fold, Lisa applied her energy and collaboration skills and brought life to our consulting community. Simply stated, without Lisa Koss there would not have been the IMC Chapter in Arizona that we have today.
To honor Lisa’s dedication and accomplishments the chapter will annually sponsor one student membership and one full membership in IMC to a deserving student. "
This scholarship will be awarded to a qualified graduate student from Thunderbird School of Global Management, as reflection of the close relationship Lisa has with that institution. She serves ongoing as a visiting speaker, and is a trusted resource to its in-house consulting group, the Thunderbird Learning Consulting Network.
