Faces and Voices Event for the City of Dubuque – Lisa Koss is Keynoter to 500

The City of Dubuque partnered with the local schools to put on their annual Faces and Voices event on November 7, 2007. The day-long event featured a keynote session entitled “Leading Across Cultures: What organizations can do to provide a climate of inclusion”, breakout sessions on various topics of diversity, dinner and a multicultural band called One Drum. The session was attended by approximately 500 people, where city, school and university personnel, businesses and community members attended. The city mayor kicked off the event.
Lisa Koss’ hour-long keynote presentation was selected to be run periodically in its entirety during the next two years on the local cable station.
