Lisa Koss Participates in Institute of Management Consultants National Task Force
Leadership in Arizona Chapter Leads to Task Force Role
January 4, 2008
International Advantage® today announced that Lisa Koss, founder and principal, has been asked to join a national task force for the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA) as a direct result of her leadership of the organization’s Arizona Chapter. The national task force, called the Invigorating IMC Task Force, (ITF), is charged with strategic planning to set the future course and direction of the organization at the national level. Lisa was one of only two current chapter leaders asked to join the task force.
“Lisa displayed remarkable leadership in re-invigorating the Arizona Chapter during her two-year tenure as president of the group,” said Dr. Drumm McNaughton, CMC®, Chair-Elect for IMC USA and the ITF Chair. “She demonstrated the kind of vision, energy and commitment we need on our task force as we set the course for the national organization for the next several years.”
During her term as president of the Arizona Chapter of IMC, membership grew over 45% and the chapter ranks #1 in the country for retention of members (92%) among the 26 other chapters. Lisa was also instrumental in bringing Alan Weiss CMC®, internationally recognized management consultant, speaker and best-selling author, to Phoenix for a management consulting event. Among other results, she instituted peer-coaching groups and advisory services for the chapter members and stabilized the chapter financially.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to help the national organization with the task force as they map out the future direction of IMC with the intent of strengthening the organization and providing the professional and educational resources that our members will use as they conduct their consulting activities,” said Lisa Koss, principal, International Advantage LLC. “It’s an honor to be invited to participate at the national level.”
