We kicked off the Quick E-Tips in November of 2003 as a way to help clients and prospective clients to learn about culture and language. The goal was to provide something of unique value: interesting, well-written, concise and practical ideas for leaders. No spamming. I just want to share with those who love these considerations as much as I do.
For the first year, I wrote two topics for every edition: a set of tips based on a cultural situation and a set of tips about how to learn a second (or third!) language. Recommendations are based on the academic research, as well as my own experience of living and learning about culture and language acquisition for extended periods in France, Mexico, Costa Rica and Russia.
